DNP3 stands for Distributed Network Protocol, version 3. Despite its lavish name, it is basically a standard master-slave protocol used in control systems and automation.
Bring interesting possibilities into SCADA monitored/controlled processes – e.g. to see and check visual video output together with data obtained from PLCs.
